On today's episode I'm gonna be doing something a little different I'm gonna be introduce in 2 new segments called what really grinds my gears and reading with Bruce and then me and my sister in the final segment is gonna talk about this Alabama Boat brawl but first things first.
00:36.61
Bruce Anthony
So like I told you guys last week I'm gonna be switching up some of the formats. This show is a last minute edition of because I had to talk about the boat incident in Alabama and the big brawl for it all fight. I just didn't want to wait until Friday so don't worry everybody we still get your sibling happy hou hour on Friday but I had to get my sister on this broadcast to talk about that and since we're going to be airing our own particular views on something that could be controversial. I'm not going to include any interview in today's episode because I don't want anybody that I interviewed to be attached to what we talk about so in in in the process of deciding to do this hurry up episode for you guys because I got to talk about the bra for it all in um, and Alabama that's going to be on the last segment. But I decided um this was already something in the works that I had been working on to introduce 2 new segments. Um I know I talk to you guys about doing the dating segment on the Tuesday shows and it'll be once or twice ah a month where I'll have somebody on talking about dating and. Giving them counsel or just shooting the breeze about dating in today's society we're not gonna be doing that today. But another thing that I have been doing recently if you go on Unsolicitperspectiveives.com you'll see this new store because we got shirts and I and I'm designing a new shirt.
02:09.60
Bruce Anthony
And remembrance for August Fifth Two thousand and twenty three for the brawl for it all so look out for that. But you'll see the store. You'll see all the episodes where you can get in both audio the audio episodes as well as the video episodes and also blogs. So. You know I've said it before my original major in college was journalism and they did write for the school new school newspaper just a couple of articles. But the heart of me the base of me always wanted to be writer and that passion hasn't necessarily left me. Um I like commentating. Little bit more than writing because writing is is is lonely and time consuming and I don't have the greatest grammar so it's very time consuming editing it editing the writing is harder than the post-production for these shows. Let's just put that out there. but but I have a passion for it and so a lot of the times the blogs are either an expansion of a topic that was discussed on a previous podcast or it could be something completely different or it could just be a recap of the podcast in case, you can't listen. Um. If you read the blogs. You'll you'll definitely see my personality and and you'll definitely see. Um how I write and the passion in which I have and the passion which I have for writing so I wrote a. I wrote a

What was going to be a blog about the indictment that Trump had last week and I was going to post it on there and I said no I actually want more people to hear this um to hear my voice as I speak the words that I wrote so there's that's gonna be the second segment I think. It was beautifully written. Ah but I don't know we'll see and then the first segment that we're gonna do is what really grounds my gears now for those people that know me personally I am not eat I don't lose my temper easily but things annoy me.
04:20.85
Bruce Anthony
Stupid stuff annoys me so on this segment. What really grinds my gears I'm going to be talking about the stupid stuff that annoyed the hell out of me and the first thing that I'm going to talk about as far as the things that people do that annoy the hell out of me. The self checkckout line ladies and gentlemen let me explain to yall it's not for everybody and it's not for everything if I've done real grocery shopping like I've got a ton of groceries like a whole cartful. Not one little hand basket. Its a whole cart full of groceries that's going to be I don't know. 3 even maybe 4 bags worth of stuff that I got to take I'm normally carrying because I don't have a car so I walk 2 blocks down to the grocery store then I'm either carrying home or I might order an uber because it's too much to carry and jump in the car that you had the place in the car to to to get to. Where you going if you go home or somebody else's house or whatever like that after you've done grocery shopping when you have that many groceries self check out line a for you, you need to take your ass down there. What the cash is are and have them ring you up because I'm tired of people with these full damn carts. Going to the self-checkout line. They don't know what they're doing. They got stuff that you gotta look up. They don't know where to the find the produce section they got special codes in there for certain items in the grocery store that you need to use these fools can't find in self checkck out line. You'll need to go there. Also I don't care y'all could call me an aegist or whatever I don't care.
05:53.96
Bruce Anthony
Old people don't need to go to self checkout if you are above 65 I feel like you need to take a test before you can go to the self checkout line because it's technology has increased so rapidly that you haven't been able to catch up the only person the only people that I know. That has really kept up with technology that's above 60 my father is about to turn 65 I know young man he's about to turn 65 my dad keeps up with technology I teach him little technology things and because he was a computer programmer. He takes that and goes above and beyond. So. He's one of the rare people that you find can has kept up with technology and hasn't fallen by the wayside but most of these people technology just moves too fast hey sometimes technology moves too fast for me and I'm a tech nerd right? There are sometimes I look at my phone and I remember 1 look. I'm at that age now where I turn on my phone to accidentally turn on the flashlight. That's hey that just happens now you know I know how to work my phone I know how to work my apps and know how to download the absent like that's not complicated to me I know how to do the self checkckout I know how to find the codes that I need cause you know you know I mean Sunday fun day I might want to get me some donnuts. Give me some donuts and some chicken wings. So donuts are a specific thing that you have to enter in in the system fruits and vegetables. You have to find them in the little in a little kiosk punch them hit the number weigh. Um, it's too much for it's too much for a lot of people.
07:28.40
Bruce Anthony
Right? And and and when you had that and we doing a bunch of grocery shopping and you have all these items that you ring up and the person that is normal. They normally have 1 helper and that self checkout lane is there to help everybody if that. So if that helper has to be over there for 5 minutes 6 7 minutes to help your dumb ass get through this self checkout you' need to be in self checkout self checkout is for quick and easy I'm in and out I do self checkout every day because I'm going to the grocery store every day because I'll ever make a list. Because that's my dumbass mistake for not writing a list before I go to the grocery store. So I get home and be like man I forgot to get that well I'm not going back there today I'll go tomorrow and you know what I'll do when I go in there tomorrow I'll go straight to the aisle that I need to get the thing go straight to self check out boop. But and then I'm out of there quick and easy. But if I'm doing some for rail grocery shopping I'm going to the main lanes. That's just what it is y'all need to stop going look I was in the groceries. The reason why this is really grounded my guess because I was in the grocery store the other day it was Sunday I went in there specifically for syrup. Why. Because I was making my world famous waffles I was doing chicken and waffle breakfast making my world famous um cin cinnamon bun waffles that's right Simmon Bun flavored waffles and my chicken wings and I didn't have any so actually I didn't go in there for syrup.
08:54.22
Bruce Anthony
Ah, went in there for strawberry preserves and some whip cramb because you got the top your waffles with some strawberry preserves or whip cream I'm telling you. It's delicious anyway, I'm in there and I'm like I'm just go down there real quick it Sunday I know it's going to be packed but the self checkout line. There's like there's like 8 of them right? You can get in. You can get out. I go there and everybody and named Mama is doing that heavy grocery shopping where they got full carts and they're all choosing to go to self checkout so much so that there is a line that's going about 10 people deep into self checkout ain't know where I didn't see people. Going in the lines with the actual cashiers. So you know what? my as did went line with the cashier and went in and out but I was pissed that I couldn't just use a self checkout because it was people with big grocery carts and a lot of groceries use a self checkout when all the cashier is right? there. What are people doing are they trying to steal. That's probably what they doing they' stealing damn should I be stealing nine an'kle still ankle still but old people and people with a lot of groceries stop grinding my gifts don't go self. Check out, no more take your ass to the cashier section. You know what else really grounds my gears I had this the other day. It's a 2 pronged ground my gear moment when you're in the gym working out and I have a residential gym in my building so every now and then when I want to go in to get some quick cardio I'll go to the my residential gym I'll go downstairs. It's nice it's nice and spacious
10:28.16
Bruce Anthony
But sometimes people want to go in there with their speakers and play music I'm really annoyed by that it says it in the rules and I'm not one. That's a stickler for the rules. That's a lie. Because I got a person that smokes weed on this balcony and we live in a non-smoking building whenever I want to smoke weed I go to the smoke sections outside or go to the courtyard. You're not supposed to smoke in the building I don't want to sit out on my balcony and be chilling with my dog some of y'all follow me on Instagram. y'all know how I do I'm out there with my champagne I might have some Tv on I might have my laptop with me might be listening to music crypto definitely by my side and we cudddle in and we vibe it and I got smell marijuana smoke and it don't be like light smell. Itd be that stinky yky inky and typically I don't mind but when I'm vibing. Don't feel like smelling smoke that was a different grind my gears let me get back to the subject at hand. So I'm in the gym and these people have their their speaker blasting and I'm just and they're being loud and they're being obnoxious and you know I I do the gym thing for a living. Right? I'm a fitness professional. There is certain fitness etiquette that you have and 1 of the things that you have is don't anyone listen to not everybody wants listen to your damn music. That's your music put on some headphones and also people that talk on their phone on speakerphone I don't want to hear your conversation unless.
11:48.31
Bruce Anthony
Something Juicy then I'm gonna eavesdrop because I'm nosy and messy but most of the time I don't want to hear your conversation I'm walking my dog on the sidewalk I don't need to hear what you're talking about on the Speakerphon put the damn phone to your ear or wear headphones. Ah, you know people really have to you. You know what it is. You know what really grinds my gear a lack of consideration for others these people in the self checkout lane. That's taken all that time slowing up the process have a lack of consideration.
12:20.34
Bruce Anthony
Other people who just want to get some strawberry preserves. It's a whip crane to put on their damn waffles for a Sunday fun day and guess I made some lemon pepper wings to go with that. Don't talk to me about how those things don't match I enjoyed myself and guess I had some champagne with gatorade zero. Why do I mix with gatorade zero. Because I'm watching my sugar intake and I need to drop some of these lbs. Let me alone. Let me live my life but these people are making it difficult for me to live my life because they don't have any consideration for me and is a little self-absorbed. No, it's not self-absorbed this is consideration for all. Okay, these people don't hat these people in a gym with their loud music these people out in the balcony smoker we got smoke weed smoke all in my air in my vicinity when I'm trying to vibe I got a vape pin. You can't smell my smoke and if I do smoke some of that greenery I'm so I'm putting it in areas where I'm not bothering anybody else. If we outside and you in the designated smoking area and I walk past you and it smell like we I'm all right with that. But I shouldn't be sitting next to my bar in the living room having myself a little drink more window open just in mi and outside might be creeping out the window looking at the people down at the pool but that's a different subject for a different day. But I'm at my bar vibin made crypto just chilling and I got the window open and I got to smell weed smoke. That's not what I want at that particular time and I damn sure don't want to be working out and listening to your music your music might suck and it's too loud. Are these complaints from a person that's getting older.
13:54.62
Bruce Anthony
Yes, they are are they valid complaints. They absolutely are do I feel bad coming on my podcast talking about these complaints hell no because this is the ground my gear segment and the final ground my gear for this week is text etiquette for those people that text me and then throw their phone to Mars I will never understand it if you just texted me like in the last two minutes and I send you a text right back. Why does it take you two and a half hours to respond to my text. It's a text message you had you had the phone in your hand. Also I know there's a lot of people out there I know there's a lot of people listening right now that got a whole bunch of notifications in their text messages right now some of them could be group chats. And that's fine, but you also got some people that sent you a text message a couple of days ago you a't respond to that shit is rude respond back to the text message also learn how to use emojis properly I just found out the thumbs up emoji. Well I've known this done the thumbs up emoji is passive aggressive because before it became known as being passive aggressive. I've been using it as passive aggressive look somebody found out that I use a thumbs up as a passive aggressive like you bothering me and it's not every time every time I like a comment or give a thumbs up. It's not me being passive aggressive all the time.
15:25.84
Bruce Anthony
Just a majority at the time but some of the times. It's just a quick acknowledgement of hey I got your text hey I Regitex hey I like what you had to say right? But if we're having a conversation and we're in kind of an argument and you send me the thumbs up, but your thumbs up means I understand what you're saying. And your thumbs up isn't a okay then buddy because that's what in my head. That's what I read all right then I Then that's what the thumbs up means to me I then and I then it's fighting words. So don't give me the thumbs up Also not everybody should not everybody should give the kissy face. And there's a couple of different kissy faces and the kissy face with the Heart. You know that's some that means I'm totally different. Be careful with that I like to give the hug emoji right? That's just me saying hug I don't give a lot of kissy face emojis and a damn show. Don't give a lot of kissy face mojis with the heart that means something totally different people just don't know how to use the emojis right in text etiquette. And for the love of God Yes I'm going back to age again parents and what I'm talking about it is I'm talking about Boomers I'm talking about parents of Gen X and millennials that are texting Now you are forbidden to use emojis you're. Forbidden to use Gifts. You're forbidden to use anything but actual letters and numbers because y'all don't know how to do it right? You don't know how to do it right? You don't know what you're saying and on the other end of that person is either an norance annoyance.
17:00.40
Bruce Anthony
Straight laughter because you're absolutely getting old There's just some emojis that I don't use anymore because I'm older I just don't use them anymore. So hey look you got to acknowledge that you know you't aged out the game. It's all right? Just send me words. And numbers and also for those people in their fifty sixty s seventy s I understand that social media can be very intoxicating. You see something funny or interesting or engaging. You want to share it and you know what? That's okay to share it in your peer group for those people that are in your age group. That's fine. Do that but don't share it to people younger than you because 9.9 times out of 10 they saw it. Ah, few days ago or a week ago and in 1 instance I got received a text message earlier today and I was like I literally saw this a year ago. This is not new. So so so don't don't share social media posts or anything like that. People younger than you, you're just dating yourself and the people that are receiving these texts are just like why are you texting me right now and if you keep sending a posts from social media whether it be Instagram or Tiktok I don't know why this older generation want to be on Ted talk so much. That's the reason why I'm not on Facebook.
18:36.47
Bruce Anthony
So generation want to be on Tiktok for those people that want to send those Tiktok messages to to the younger people to people that are not in your peer group if you don't get no responses if you've sent fo five six tiktoks and ain't nobody respond back. Don't send no more damn titocks. That's just ro and there isn't anybody particularly I'm talking to out there. There's nobody particularly I'm talking out there too. But there's gonna be a lot of people that are goingnna hear this and they gonna feel triggered and in that case I'm talking about you if you feel triggered I'm talking about you these are lessons that I'm teaching you that you need to know because Ai n't nobody close to you gonna tell you stop sending me that stuff stop sending it to other people. That's what really grinds my gears.
19:35.50
Bruce Anthony
So like I said I fancy myself of 1 time have been a writer or wrote and I wrote a blog that what was going to be a blog but I guess now will be a video blog. I'm reading what I actually wrote ah about the Trump indictment and how important this indictment is I as my sister says I'm historian because I am a history major what I planned on doing with the history degree. Don't know but I've always been fascinated with history I feel like obviously you can learn from your past and make better decisions for the future. We repeat past actions a lot especially throughout this country things. Recycle. You know the daughters of the confederacy now are moms at liberty you know, certain things just. Recycle the clue cuts clan is now the pro boys or the patriot. Whatever or the and whatever little oathkeepers or something like that these things recycle. Ah but what we're seeing with Trump is unprecedented and ah. Feel like in the historical context people don't understand just how important everything that is going on is you know some people don't want to talk about politics because they're like I don't want to talk about politics right? Politics is important.
21:11.74
Bruce Anthony
Politicians influence our day-to- day lives whether you realize it or not by the policies that they put in place if you didn't vote in the last election if you didn't vote in the 2016 election if you didn't vote in the 2012 and 8 election you are directly responsible for things like Roe v wade being repealed and affirmative action going by the wayside. These are things that politicians do politics matters. It's the formation of loss. It's the foundation of America and the way that we live. Influence everything in our life. So for for people to go out there and say well I don't like to talk about politics. You don't you need to be informed or else. You don't participate in the process and if you don't participate in the process I want to hear you complaining. Not at all, you can't say shit because you chose not to partake in the process and too often people have chosen a side whether they're Democrat or republican whether they're conservative or liberal and whoever it is that is running in that race for that particular group is who they vote for. Not paying attention to anything that they actually stand for just the title that they hold in a particular category. It's important all of this matters. So.
22:44.81
Bruce Anthony
Like I said I wrote a blog about Trump's indictment I'm going to read it to you guys if you're watching on video I don't know maybe I put some videos in here. So you don't see me just staring off at the screen. Um, for those that are listening to audio. It'll just be me reading so reading what I wrote um I have not reread this in a few days. So this will be fresh. Um, but this is how I feel about what's going on in this country in particular the indict the latest indictments with the former president United States Donald Trump the title of this blog is Trump's historic indictment a turning point in american politics in a historic moment that has sent shockwaves through the political landscape former president Donald Trump has become the first sitting president to be criminally charged for actions taken while in office with various indictments on his plate. Including one that recently came to Light Trump's legal battles have reached a critical juncture Today. We're going to dive into the details of this indictment and analyze the potential implications it holds for the future. Let's talk about the charges First. On August Third Donald Trump pleaded not guilty to charges related to election interference the indictment centers around his alleged attempts to manipulate the 2020 presidential election results in his favor. Specifically it is claimed that Trump called the georgia state secretary and requested him to find 11000.
24:18.66
Bruce Anthony
And 8 votes enough to overturn Joe Biden's victory in the state here's the reality of the situation with republicans in Georgia affirming that Trump did not win despite his claims. It became increasingly clear that the allegations hold no grounds. Furthermore. Have been recounts in certain states would found no evidence of mass fraud or decrease or deceased voters. However, Trump persistently promotes false electors and falsely declared victories trying to bend the election outcome. To his liking. What about his role in the capitol attack while Trump was not accused of explicitly instructing people to storm the capit on January Sixth he faced accusations of inciting the violence through his words and actions. I expressed disbelief at the lack of security during the January six and told you all about the security during the black lives matters protest protests in DC. and the presence of the police and national guards during those black lives matter protests in comparison to what happened on January Sixth and a lack of security. My friends that were there.
25:46.60
Bruce Anthony
Claimed they received no warning before being confronted by law enforcement. They weren't causing any property damage during those protests. So I was challenging and I am still challenging. The media's biased portrayal against antifa. And black lives matter now. Let's talk about the contrasting narratives. It is interesting to observe the stark contrast and labeling of the organizations Trump along with representative Mario Taylor Green labeled antifa and black lives matter as terrorist organizations. Meanwhile private groups like the proud boys and oathkeepers seem to elude such labels even though their members's actions have often raised eyebrows at the very least they've raised eyebrows. Oh by the way I am ad libbing a little bit on this blog because I'm starting as I'm rereading it. Starting to get agitated again. Obviously there's a mischaracterization of both organizations. The mischaracterization is placed in the favor of the speaker. The speakers being Trump and Marjorie Taylor Green and their eyes antifa black lives matter terrorraced pro boys oathkeepers patriots diving into a lighter note am amongst these controversies.
27:18.90
Bruce Anthony
Oh no, I'm not gonna read that part I'm gonna cut that part not gonna read that part right Trump pleads in his other indictments Donald Trump has pleaded not guilty to all charges leveled against him. Additionally, he faces 2 other indictments in North Carolina and Florida these charges evolve. A hush money scheme and a mishandling of classified documents respectfully despite his plea I think he's guilty as hell now here's another one where I detour let's talk about the historic significance of this. He had classified documents. Now I know what everybody's gonna say Hillary Clinton had classified documents no she did not what she had was emails on her servers that had some classified information on it but not specifically classified documents. There is a dramatic difference. Between the 2 he had files that were in public view was her server super secure I don't know I couldn't hack a server but I'm sure other people could but you know who could see those classified files. Anybody who went to marry largo. Back to back to the back to the blog here's a shift in american politics as former president Trump navigates through legal battles the significance of his indictment cannot be understood. Understated.
28:48.67
Bruce Anthony
Sets a precedent for accountability among those who hold the highest office in the land. This monumentous event will likely shape the future of american politics leaving a profound impact on the way leaders are held responsible for their actions during and after the tenure at conclusion Trump. Indictment ushers in a new era where the actions of those in power are subject to scrutiny and potential legal consequences as this league of drama unfolds the world watches intently eager to see how the course of justice will evolve. This indictment not only represents a reckoning for an individual but it also symbolizes the changing face of american politics regardless of the outcome 1 thing remains clear the notion that no one is above the law resonates louder. And ever before now I've stated before I don't think he's going to jail for this. We're seeing that he's not getting any political pushback from his base for doing this. Been relaning over and over again a line and he said during the 2016 running and there running the election where he said his people love him so much he could stand in the middle of the street shoot somebody. He wouldn't even be charged by those people and we're saying that.
30:20.13
Bruce Anthony
I mean he didn't do that. He didn't do that but metaphorically he did people died because of his actions people were hurt because of his actions and why well because those that were in the republican party. Said he's got a lot of popularity. We can get some things done. We just have to use him the right way and they did they thought that they could they could control him but you don't control an egomaniac they control you because you gave him the power and now you can't take it away. You got Chris Christie out here now. All of a sudden condemning Trump he knew who Trump was everybody close to Trump knew who Trump was Trump is a self-centered egotistical person that is out for self. There was never any intent to do. Public good. There was plenty intent to do self- promotion and while I'm not above doing self-promotion because obviously I have my own podcast and have a voice and feel like it should be heard and there's some. Ego that's associated with that I genuinely care about people I'm not doing this to boost my own ego I'm doing this because I feel like I have something to say.
31:53.27
Bruce Anthony
And people can learn from what I have to say just like I learn from what people say to me that's not him. He doesn't listen to anybody he follows his own logic and his own logic is what's good for me. And there will be no removing him for power. He has a hold of the republican party. 1 of my friends somebody I know somebody who I feel is really smart. Maybe not that intelligent but very smart voted for Trump not once but twice. And it's caused me to reevaluate our relationship and if they need me I'll be there but we're nowhere near as close as we used to be. And she said to me he did some good things and I repeated back to her. The devil always gives you what you want you just got to sell your soul to him and remember when you make a deal with the devil. You don't change the devil the devil changes you.
32:05.48
Bruce Anthony
Yeah, let's go chase lights. But.
32:11.90
Bruce Anthony
All right everybody I had to call my sister in on this one. We all normally we all normally do Tuesdays but I had to get her in for a quick few talk about the black avengers I'm talking about I'm talking about the alabama brawl I'm talking about the alabama brawl for it all I'm talking about the boat massacre I'm talking about the black and white cookie explosion talking about all of that if you don't know now you know.
32:31.17
J. Aundrea

32:48.24
Bruce Anthony
I was ah there was a massive brawl that broke out on a dock in Alabama montgomery Alabama to be exact the fight involved dozens of people and was captured all on video so you got Youtube Tick Tock Twitter you can find Instagram.
32:57.60
J. Aundrea
Um, yes, it's everywhere.
33:06.26
Bruce Anthony
It's everywhere you could find it ah the battle began. Ah after a group of boaters attacked a montgomery riverboat dock worker. Ah the fight was attributed to you know parking. Basically it was attributed to parking. But.
33:06.95
J. Aundrea
It's truly everywhere.
33:16.30
J. Aundrea
Um.
33:22.71
J. Aundrea
Yeah.
33:26.27
Bruce Anthony
To to you know if you haven't seen it the elephant in a room was the montgomery River Boat Dock Worker was a black man and he was talking to a group of white people that had their boats that were blocking ah the parking for bigger boats.
33:31.82
J. Aundrea
Yes.
33:42.94
J. Aundrea
The yeah the rip the big river boat the Harriet was supposed to be docking and they were on the way so he asked them to move their boat. So.
33:44.36
Bruce Anthony
And asked them to move it and.
33:56.66
Bruce Anthony
Apropos that it was called the Harriet Apropos ah don't matter. Don't matter. Ah, he asked him to move the boat.
34:00.11
J. Aundrea
Um, yes I don't believe it spelled the same as Tubman but yeah, yes, it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter.
34:12.22
Bruce Anthony
I guess some words were exchanged and they fired off on them. The next thing you know it's like 6 or 7 white people on this one black man and black people in the area votron formed and per.
34:19.34
J. Aundrea
Yes.
34:26.26
J. Aundrea
They came by land by sea. Ah.
34:32.12
Bruce Anthony
And proceeded to whoop that ass Jay what do you think about all this.
34:34.65
J. Aundrea
Yes, well at this point the main character of this is that folding chair. That's what's all on my timeline.
34:47.21
Bruce Anthony
So if y'all don't know there was a black man during this this brawl for it all. Ah he was tagging this 1 white guy. He had him with several chair shots and and this is one thing I say about that white guy. He took a lot of blows punches. He took.
34:58.19
J. Aundrea
Yeah, he didn't go down. Um, no.
35:04.54
Bruce Anthony
Several chair shots and not one City fall Now the controversy for some out there is that there was a white woman that was a part of the brawl that was sitting on the ground and.
35:15.71
J. Aundrea
Um, after she had been I believe beaten up by 1 or 2 black women. So yeah.
35:22.71
Bruce Anthony
Okay, that let's point this point emphasis is there like there were women that was involved in this fight and the black women went after the white women that were attacking the black men. Okay, and.
35:30.97
J. Aundrea
Yes.
35:35.54
J. Aundrea
Yes.
35:40.23
Bruce Anthony
Proceeded to whoop that one woman got thrown in the water got thrown in a one but but you said that the chair has been all on your timeline.
35:42.85
J. Aundrea
Ah, yet 1 or 2 I believe you're not thrown in the water. Yes, yes, the chair with a do rag on. Um I've seen in the chair.
35:57.18
Bruce Anthony
So and.
35:57.39
J. Aundrea
I've I've seen advertisements for people to sell chairs I've seen people you know because there's always that uncle that's got a bunch of folding chairs and picnic tables. There's always that that I I incidentally am that uncle I have folding chairs at picnic table.
36:06.96
Bruce Anthony
Oh okay.
36:16.94
J. Aundrea
But in the basement so everybody is pulling their folding chairs out be showing off their moves with their folding chairs now. Yes, the controversy is though that the gentleman with the folding chair later hit the woman that was sitting on the ground with the folding chair. He was.
36:26.88
Bruce Anthony
Um.
36:31.58
Bruce Anthony
Yeah, yeah, you hit her you well you got to you have to you have you? you have to.
36:35.63
J. Aundrea
Promptly arrested promptly. Yeah, um, that it was unacceptable like leave the fight like leave the fight First of all default. And chair even entering the fight was unacceptable.
36:52.19
Bruce Anthony
Look there's been so many ticktoks of Jim Ross was an announcer of the WW during the attitude there and he would always be like god god he's got a chair they go at straight the hell all these chair shots. There were so many voiceovers i.
36:02.43
J. Aundrea
Um.
37:10.73
Bruce Anthony
I Thought it was absolutely hilarious Now you no no, it's a fight. It's now it's a fight.
37:11.68
J. Aundrea
Yeah, but I'm mean in a fist fight. You know, leave it. It leave it as a fist fight you know are because they were doing pretty well with their fists. They were doing pretty well with their fist. They didn't need to take it to W w. And bring in a chair.. It's not a chair battle.
37:30.14
Bruce Anthony
This is what I was explaining to somebody earlier today. We're grown when you're in a fight you have to assume that it's a fight to the death because you don't know what the other person's final intentions are and 1 small one wrong shot.
37:42.61
J. Aundrea
Or yeah.
37:49.61
Bruce Anthony
When wrong landing and you're dead. So it's literally a fight for your life. So if it's a fight for your life. There are no rules I'm doing everything. Okay I I I thought it was over care.
37:50.73
J. Aundrea
Yeah, yeah, he had to hit the lady upside to hit he had to hit the lady upset to hit that was overkill if the chair is gonna make if the chairs go make. An appearance in the fight which the chairs the chairs in according to you chairs in everything is in so but Hidden the lady with the chair she was just sitting there. She had already had her. She had already gotten her ass. What.
38:10.93
Bruce Anthony
But chair to everything is in yeah I thought he was wrong I thought the she that it he was wrong as well.
38:27.20
J. Aundrea
Yeah.
38:29.33
Bruce Anthony
Of course on these ticktoks not to say that these tiktoks make a lot of points but 1 person made a valid point and I said it's understandable to enter this into discussion. The threat had not been eliminated.
38:42.50
J. Aundrea
Um.
38:47.57
Bruce Anthony
What do the cops? Do they eliminate the threat. She wasn't down and out she was just sitting down So the threat had not been eliminated yet.
38:57.62
J. Aundrea
Um, yeah to to me the people who whooping their ass had already backed off a whoop in her ass because they had succeeded and whoopping her ass.
39:02.51
Bruce Anthony
Yeah, and but but look you don't know if she go back to her boat. They might have that they might have the blinky in the boat. She might go back to the boat and start letting off. So.
39:06.98
J. Aundrea
She was down she was down.
39:19.45
Bruce Anthony
If if cops say they got to neutralize the threat who am I to say in a fight for my life I don't need to neutralize a threat now ladies and gentlemen I'm not condoning men hitting women with chairs I'm not condoning men hitting women except for the fact, if you defending yourself.
39:20.82
J. Aundrea
M.
39:28.17
J. Aundrea
No no.
39:36.98
J. Aundrea
I Think we're about to disagree. Go ahead.
39:37.49
Bruce Anthony
Hear me out hear me out a hear me out I've dated several women within the last five six years ah 2 specifically were semi amateur fighters 1 boxer.
39:55.31
J. Aundrea
Um, yeah, yeah, right right? yes.
39:55.77
Bruce Anthony
1 moy tie I'm not semi amateur anything. There are women out there in the Ufc if 1 of them come to what my ass and she is a trained fighter I have all the right to defend myself to the best.
40:08.25
J. Aundrea
Yeah.
40:14.94
Bruce Anthony
Ah, my ability because if I don't I could catch a serious ass whooping in that situation.
40:18.45
J. Aundrea
Well I think it's the I think it's superhero rules. At that point you ever notice that female superheroes. It's just a fight like it's not nobody's pulling any punches just because she's a woman. She's a superhero so it's the fight is just.
40:22.77
Bruce Anthony
Right? look.
40:36.37
Bruce Anthony
If wonder woman Captain Marvel or or what's my girl the the sorcerer she's a sorceress now.
40:36.88
J. Aundrea
A straight up fight and so.
40:46.28
J. Aundrea
Um, oh I know I know Scarlet witch.
40:50.39
Bruce Anthony
Um, damn she own Marvel she just had a whole series on Marvel you know who I'm a scarlet with Scotland scarlet with if one of them is fighting look Hawk Superman cat america iron man are fighting for their life so you write and so but.
41:02.13
J. Aundrea
Yes.
41:05.76
Bruce Anthony
This I'm gonna assume that she wouldn't train because she thoroughly got her ass What so I'm quite sued that she wouldn't tray. My man was wrong for hi there with the chair. Just some people that say some people are saying you got neutralize that threat and in some situations. It's okay for a man to defend himself against a woman.
41:07.60
J. Aundrea
Now. Yes, yes, yes.
41:24.76
Bruce Anthony
Especially if that woman knows how to fight That's all I'm saying I'm not saying that I can just walk down the street hitting regular women that aren't trained fight. But if a trained fighter step to me I have the right to defend myself to the best of my ability.
41:32.11
J. Aundrea
Correct.
41:42.40
J. Aundrea
Yeah I mean but that's you know that lady was not a train fighter. She was not She was a middle aged woman. Ah, and who was yeah who was down.
41:45.45
Bruce Anthony
That's all I'm saying no she was not.
41:52.70
Bruce Anthony
The chair shot was to.
41:56.16
J. Aundrea
I think I feel like the chair shot was a cheap shot. He might not have gotten arrested if he if they had yeah they grabbed him immediately after he did that they they were standing right there and watched him do it? Um, yeah yeah.
41:58.83
Bruce Anthony
Um, yeah, no, they immediately they arrested him immediately? Yeah, yeah, because he was he was Wrong. He and he should have been arrested. Um, you say the chair is is. The Chairman is your guy I.
42:16.49
J. Aundrea
Ah, the chair is a paid actor. The chair itself is the main character of this according to my timeline. Um.
42:24.70
Bruce Anthony
That's not the make. Okay, according your timeline my timeline it is. They've dubbed him the Aqua Mine Aqua main The dude that jump.
42:34.48
J. Aundrea
Aqua Main Yeah and that was very early on in the brawl when they were jumping the security guard. You just see a a brother swimming to the dock.
42:48.71
Bruce Anthony
Swimming.
42:51.58
J. Aundrea
I Don't know where he came from he he jip? Yeah, yeah, yeah, and swam quickly like it wasn't he.
42:51.94
Bruce Anthony
He came from the boat he jumped. There's this, there's scenes where he jumped off the boat and swam across the English channel to go save his brethren.
43:10.13
J. Aundrea
He looked like an Olympic swimmer he quickly made his way from that boat.
43:11.52
Bruce Anthony
Some so somebody said he was like oh he definitely learned from the Y I Ca because his stroke was immaccuulate but he was swimming in his regular clothes when you swimming your regular clothes. That's weigh you down.
43:21.91
J. Aundrea
Um, yeah.
43:27.96
J. Aundrea
Um, yes.
43:30.30
Bruce Anthony
Then he had to pull himself off that dock then he gave somebody the rock bottom and the god he gave rock bottom to was well over two hundred pounds and come to find out this is a kid. He's only sixteen years old
43:35.35
J. Aundrea
Um, yeah, yeah, yeah, that you could hear people yelling. Go ahead. Young man swim over there young man and he was just a young.
43:48.31
Bruce Anthony
Um.
43:51.19
J. Aundrea
Person who was seeing it honestly an injustice because the way they went after that security guard. First of all the security guard hit the schmony hat flick. What do you that when he first got hit he said well there's my there goes my job and he.
44:01.20
Bruce Anthony
Look oh my God that was another thing.
44:11.12
J. Aundrea
Flipped his head because he was like this on now.
44:14.72
Bruce Anthony
So so if y'all don't understand with this money look up Bobby Schmurter Hot N word I'm not gonna say it the hot and that's the name of the song and ah he he throws his hat in the air.
44:23.23
J. Aundrea
Um, yeah.
44:28.31
Bruce Anthony
And now we know why he throws his hat in the air. That's a universal call for black avengers Unite no see that yeah black avengers us now they say assemble we say unite black avengers unite come on. It's its own.
44:32.49
J. Aundrea
Yeah, a symbol.
44:41.86
J. Aundrea
Black ventures come here. You come on is on Um, you also know us on when you see a bunch of black dudes do like a little skip towards you.
44:48.10
Bruce Anthony
Ah.
44:53.65
Bruce Anthony
The Skip The skip is always a telltale So that's something that's.
44:57.85
J. Aundrea
It's a it's a it's like a run skip towards the danger they're skipping because they got to they got to warm up a little bit and um, yes, yes yeah.
45:07.30
Bruce Anthony
It's it's the they're getting their footwork ready to throw combinations. It's not just us though is it is black and brown because I seen some brown people skip but the key is when somebody is running towards you and you see that skipping it's There's no, there's no talking.
45:22.45
J. Aundrea
no no yes yeah oh they're ready. They've been waiting for this all day David waiting.
45:24.59
Bruce Anthony
There's no, it's you're about to be in a physical altercation and if they skip in. They're happy to be entering in this physical altercation.
45:39.39
Bruce Anthony
Yes.
45:41.52
J. Aundrea
They've been waiting to come across a bunch of white guys beaten up a black dude so that they can skip into battle.
45:51.90
Bruce Anthony
Whole and they shown enough dead. Oh my goodness I'm not gonna lot all I swelled up with pride August Fifth Two thousand and Twenty three will be a date that will live in infamy and just let yall know.
46:06.23
J. Aundrea
Um.
46:09.23
Bruce Anthony
How infamous that show it that that day is we are going to create a shirt. Did you see the text messagees I said to you so the shirt is Goingnna be are enough for all this daily daddling in the front and in the back is gonna be.
46:14.70
J. Aundrea
Yes I did I did see the text message. Yes.
46:27.81
Bruce Anthony
Now to get to more serious stuff and just a picture of a chair. It's a picture of a chair because.
46:34.84
J. Aundrea
The way the way we are so the most unserious people because because the way my timeline got flooded with tiktoks about these folding chairs.
46:42.44
Bruce Anthony
Ah.
46:46.76
Bruce Anthony
But you know what though it wasn't just us I saw a lot of white people doing the same thing. It's a lot of people. Okay, so when you say we're son so unserious.
46:54.34
J. Aundrea
I Mean so unserious.
47:00.10
J. Aundrea
Yeah. Yes, yeah, yes.
47:05.70
Bruce Anthony
Yes, and no, we have to laugh through the pain. So historically, we've even during slavery we did we sang hymns like we entertained us and you have to find a way to get through the pain. So when you say there were.
47:19.25
J. Aundrea
Me.
47:22.64
Bruce Anthony
Unserious in a way we are but in a way it's necessaryy. How do you all? think that we that we have't the idea that white people think that if black people gain power that we would start treating y'all like you treated us. It's just not our get down and don't you all think that if that was our get down.
47:25.20
J. Aundrea
Yeah.
47:36.27
J. Aundrea
Yeah.
47:41.84
Bruce Anthony
We would have been whooping ass like this long before long before. How do you? How do you think we stay maintained. It's through laughter and music and jokes because if we didn't y'all be getting Alabama brought every day.
47:42.98
J. Aundrea
You go like long ago it Yes, you are lucky that we're hilarious.
47:59.32
Bruce Anthony
So lucky if you're lucky that we want to have fun to get through the pay but on but on that day.
48:02.47
J. Aundrea
You're lucky that we're good dancers and singers because we entertain ourselves.
48:18.46
Bruce Anthony
There was no getting through the pain. It was look this ain't gonna be no history of Alabama and the the thought of that river that holds such significance because it was a major landmark for the slave trade that river specifically was a major landmark for the slave trade and not no more.
48:34.58
J. Aundrea
Me now now.
48:37.68
Bruce Anthony
Not ever again now. It's not gonna be a bunch of white people beating up on a black man. No now you got to fight all of us all of us and everybody got arrested. That's what made me because I mean some people jumped into that fight and it's like I man the fight is over.
48:45.00
J. Aundrea
Um, yes.
48:49.55
J. Aundrea
Yes. Yeah, yes.
48:56.53
Bruce Anthony
Ah, you ain't got to jump in anymore. We assembled we United That is good people caught that ass whoop and let it go now. Let it go some people still get every yes well they didn't get arrested right away.
49:01.00
J. Aundrea
Yeah, they caught they caught the ass weapon and they're being arrested like let it go but you know people get hyped up.
49:13.28
Bruce Anthony
Because when the cops arrived they't really know what was going on. Luckily luckily everybody got a cell phone. We were like we can show you hit his house started. This is what it was um, so yeah I just wanted to talk about the bra Jay because I was like this kid wait until the end of the week back because by the end of the week. It still won't be over.
49:16.10
J. Aundrea
Um, they didn't know. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
49:30.44
J. Aundrea
Now No and this is you know this is a one this this to me is a one off like but just so you know for the future y'all do stuff like this.
49:32.90
Bruce Anthony
But it won't be as fresh.
49:50.18
J. Aundrea
This is how we're gonna respond but it's it's always a response. It's always a reaction. It's not proactive. It's like Kimberly Jones said you know you lucky where black folks are looking for equality and not revenge.
49:50.48
Bruce Anthony
Yes, yeah.
50:06.11
J. Aundrea
We're We're always gonna be in reaction but we are going to react.
50:06.56
Bruce Anthony
Um, yeah, this idea that the I we keep in our eyes on the prize and you know, no disrespect to to to Martin and John Lewis in them taking them beaten they needed to take that beaten for the world to see what was going on for things to change George Floyd unfortunately he he had to die for people to see police brutality in their face for.
50:23.00
J. Aundrea
Frank right.
50:34.88
Bruce Anthony
There to be some type of change. It don't last for a while because the people back to defending the police but but sometimes these things need to happen. Also what needs to happen is you need to see? oh we will unite and beat that ass. So.
50:36.72
J. Aundrea
Um.
50:50.93
J. Aundrea
Is.
50:54.82
Bruce Anthony
In case, you don't your case you thought you had it all figured out and in case you thought that if we United And we beat that as that that we would go to jail you wouldn't go to jail this situation has shown you you gonna start some you gonna catch that beat down and you gonna go to jail that's that's what it is.
50:57.42
J. Aundrea
Right.
51:09.37
J. Aundrea
Because we go because if we Go't do anything. We Go't get receipts. We gonna get the video. We don't get receipts if we gonnat do anything the receipt taken will happen. Yes.
51:14.60
Bruce Anthony
Yes.
51:24.48
Bruce Anthony
Hand chair shots.
51:28.48
J. Aundrea
And unfortunately chair shots.
51:29.41
Bruce Anthony
Well, the man I'm okay with him hitting the man he wasn't going no and he was a one that actually started the whole thing. He was the one that me.
51:33.70
J. Aundrea
Because that man wasn't going down and so they it was a couple of guys on him. He wasn't going down. So okay, you want to you want to neutralize that threat you hit him with a chair up.
51:48.65
Bruce Anthony
Fanos He he was almost Danos out there.
51:53.18
J. Aundrea
I understand I understand that but still hitting the lady that that wasn't cool but he eat white he he rightly was arrested for that. But yeah, we always gonna react. It's It's kind of along the lines of when we encourage.
51:57.14
Bruce Anthony
Yeah, it was too far then that was too far. Yeah.
52:12.31
J. Aundrea
White people to not use the n-word. It's not. It's not for us. It's for you. It's for you because you're gonna say it around the wrong person and you gonna get a full ride with and you gonna get a full ride to di hands university.
52:12.88
Bruce Anthony
And.
52:23.18
Bruce Anthony
Which is any of us who yes you will Oh you have freedom of Speech You do you got it and you got freedom to catch these hands.
52:32.29
J. Aundrea
And you are gonna graduate Magna Cum laude. Yes, yes yeah, freedom of Speech just means you you can't be ah.
52:41.92
Bruce Anthony
Because you will catch these hands.
52:49.38
Bruce Anthony
Right? Oh I mean it. That's not freedom of speech That's that oh divide right? Okay, okay.
52:50.10
J. Aundrea
Restricted by the government. It doesn't mean that I can't bust you in your mouth Freedom of Speech does not mean that you can't get bust in the mouth like it doesn't it does not mean that somebody is not going to react to what you say.
53:07.20
Bruce Anthony
Right? yeah.
53:09.21
J. Aundrea
You allowed to say it but just know that there is going to be a consequence to that action and it's gonna be that ass.
53:16.35
Bruce Anthony
To those words are did you have any I kept you on here longer I said it was just gonna be 10 minutes and and and once again I I started rambling. Do you have anything else that you want to say about this fight and anything else to the people out there before we end this segment. Before we end this episode. This is end an episode.
53:36.12
J. Aundrea
You know I don't I don't condone violence I don't like seeing violence. Um, but you know sometimes there's such a thing called good trouble and.
53:51.11
J. Aundrea
And and sometimes the only thing you know our my dad taught me this is sometimes people don't understand until you get down on their level and when we all go low. We gonna go to hell and that's.
53:59.10
Bruce Anthony
Earth.
54:10.51
J. Aundrea
Sorry star Mrs Obama
54:12.27
Bruce Anthony
Yeah, yeah, no I Definitely don't agree with ah that's the only thing that she says I don't agree with if you go low, we go. We na no no, no, you go low. We go to hell because I'm gonna fight you to the death. Um, so that's that's how you want to angel.
54:25.47
J. Aundrea
Um, yes.
54:29.33
Bruce Anthony
You know part that you go low. We gonna go to hell. Okay, um, watch the video I feel a it's hilarious If you're triggered or if you think that they weren't that group of black people were not justified in their actions.
54:29.51
J. Aundrea
Um, yeah, yeah, yeah.
54:48.35
Bruce Anthony
Look inside yourself. You got some bias there. You got a lot of bias there and that's a problem. Sorry just gonna give you the raw real. But on that note as always our holler.
54:48.49
J. Aundrea
So in. Um, yeah.
